Hi All,
Having had my tourism business closed for 5 months with no clear end in sight and having mouths to feed, I'm considering retraining as a cattle hoof trimmer. I've always enjoyed working with cows which I've been doing on and off since I was 6 and am looking for a rewarding business working with them again going forward.
Question 1
Is there demand for good hoof trimmers in Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Nottinghamshire and S Yorks as I could cover all those areas from where I live in the Peak District?
Question 2
Also, their appears to be two courses that are nationally recognised.... National Association of Cattle Foot Trimmers (NACFT) Category 1 Diploma and the Cattle Hoof Care Standards Board (CHCSB) Bovine Lameness and Professional Bovine Foot Trimming Diploma from Cirencester RAC what's your preference and why? Thanks all.
Thank
