if so, I have a very substantial and heavy DC motor which I believe would make an ideal generator coupled to the right impellor / water wheel, this motor is still of current manufacture and costs new over £11,000, I have been involved in hydro power over the years but am now retired, I was contemplating using this myself, but feel that this sort of project is for the younger person and if anyone wants to have a go, then all I want for this motor is £350, I would love to see it put to good use, if you want to see the spec, it is a Baldor 2020r
