I understand it’s being revived sept/Oct time but with the current situation I have my doubts.ive heard some stewardship payments are being stopped because the country just can’t afford it.if I buy a direct drill I’d really like to claim the grant.difficult to know what to do

Not to be negative but my experience last yr was that it limits your options and was so much hassle there are easier ways to earn 9k which hasn’t turned up yet.

What stewardship have you heard to be stopped? surely the signed 5 yr contract and the fact people have spent a fortune on approved seed will open them up for some big claims.

I fully expect my CS payments to be delayed further. They are over a year in arrears already & I'm one of the ones better off than most. The country isn't about to run out of cash, just the resources to administer it.

I haven't looked into it as my business is just to slow to react to these brief schemes. In what way did it limit your options? What were you looking at?

On the other hand we got paid for our new drill very quickly with very little fuss.......for the rpa.
What % did the grant pay for? Thought the max was £9-10k. Maybe 25% of a 3m drill but a top spec 6m would be 10%
