Mine went through as normal on Jan 1st, so new year hasn't created any issues. Refund due back on the 9th, which seems to have become the norm these days.

Service just down currently perhaps?

Try uninstall hmrc connection and try re connect possibly .
Same with Bank connection, think you had to re authorize every few months but think Quickbooks have altered that now?
Contact quickbooks via email, messenger or phone also possibly?

No matter which system is used there is the occasional head-scratching session involved with it. I did mine a couple of days ago, very late for me but due to family circumstances, and I lost the bridging software used with Excel. Found it after the obligatory scratch and a cup of tea by simply pressing the ‘Home’ button which alters the menu bar view.

Yes, had to get my accountant to sort it out for me.
It did just need reconnecting to HMRC which is a simple thing to do online but not if you are using the wrong HMRC log in.
TBH once the accountant told me where I was going wrong I could have fixed it myself but got them to do it and I did the reconnection at my end a day or two later.

I have a log in for my personal tax self assessment and one for my ltd company, I was trying to log in with the wrong one and it took my accountant to realise this and sort it out. If that means a bill then so be it, the system is simple and I was being the same.

yeah and in a lot of cases it so happens people are generally are a bit lazy to do something that pushes them 'out of their box' so that common thing gets taken advantage of .
Plumbing is my latest  but used to hate it before, fear of the unknown , ( and if you don't like something there again you don't generally do it very well do you , ) (or maybe even just the words ) that's all.
