Anyone know if it is possible to upgrade the headlights/bulbs on a 13 plate D Max?
Mine are ok on main beam but very poor light on dipped beam to the point of being dangerous. Thanks for any advice.

I stand to be corrected but I believe that the aftermarket LED bulbs aren't legal on the road or MOTable. I have found that some of the standard wattage high quality bulbs from the likes of Phillips and Osram can much improve halogen headlights. They are bulbs manufactured to the letter of the legal specification. Look on Amazon or specialist websites.

I’m sure you are wrong. This comes up on bike forums lots. Aftermarket HID are illegal, led not

Which model do you have? Am I right in thinking the Utah has different rear lights to the rest, LED I think, are there better front ones up the range?? I’ve just got a 64 plate Utah, didn’t think the lights too bad but then I’ve not gone far away from street lights in the dark yet.

Try these. They are listed on the Isuzu website as official upgrades but £23 dearer

I may be wrong in my reply. For legal and non legal try powerbulbs.co.uk.
In my first disco 4 it had halogen projector which were s h i t. So i fiited led bulbs with little fans on back. They transformed it and no flashes from on coming cars. That was 6 years ago and the tech has improved massively. You are lucky in that you have projector style lights so an LED swap will work well and you only have to swap at mot time
