We recently received 3 letters from the above, all addressed to the farm/OH in 3 different variants of name/address.

The letters are identical and want us to scan a QR code and do a questionnaire on our attitude to biodiversity on the farm. We haven't. It is very generic - sounding. I looked at their website and it appears pretty non-specific also "Our research projects have impact. Not only in Scotland but across the rest of the world. We look at the physical elements of landscapes such as mountains, hills and water bodies. We consider living elements such as soil and vegetation." Blah blah blah.

Has anyone else had these letters? I'm a bit peeved as it appears someone has sold our details, but I don't recall ever using one of the forms of address. The timing seems suspicious also as the gov has cut all environmental management grants from future subs.

The James Hutton Institute are out to screw your business over. They will be wanting your biodiversity information so that they can show how removing your livestock from your croft will save the planet. Tell them to do one.
