Jcb 310s vibes

When at full throttle on a flat road the engine seems to hit "the cutout" the revs fluctuate between 2350 and 2390, this start a shake through the cab, only stopping when revs are reduced, if its driven at 2300rpm or engine is labouring the problem doesn't happen. I was told to clean the foot pedal and the throttle would reset but this made no difference, also the auto gearbox is too fierce and rash, rather have a full manual transmission, are there any gearbox modifications,2012 310s.

Haven't had the throttle problem in ours.

Same age and the dealer saw it two years ago, no software update available at the time. When mooching round the yard carting bales etc I use it in 'empty trailer' mode which saves a clonky gear change that you get in the 'loaded trailer'. Tap the column shift button for a downchange if required, admittedly a stupid place for it so rarely use it.

You could try changing the potentiometer on the throttle, but get it checked by the dealer first. I spoke to a dealer about our 320s having a tendency to "kangaroo" at certain throttles and was told there was a software update to soften the throttle response.
