Hi,
The contract I work for has recently purchased a second hand 434s, the machine is in very good working order but has very minor (more nigly than anything else) issues. Has anyone had the knock down button on the joystick stop working and if so how did they fix it. Also the machine won't release pressure on the function line, another 434 Ive used before would release the pressure if you held the emergency steer button and worked the function buttons with ignition on. Does anyone know why this one won't do that?

dont know the 434 but sounds like you got a broken switch or wire for the kickdown and a bad accumulator for the service release

Yeah I assumed as much for the knock down switch, tried swapping it with the neutral button but still wouldn't work, must be a broken wire somewhere

Where is it on the 434?
When I got my 310 the lockdown wasnt working,traced it to a broken wire near the lh fnr stick

The button is on the joystick, the knock down on the lh shuttle still works fine
