No doubt these questions have been asked before, I tried searching for other threads but no luck.

So what are the main differences between the models, there are agri , super and dear knows what else. Some have 4 speed and some have 6 speed transmissions. Is the torque lock any good for towing? Engine reliability, how does the older engines compare against the newer add blue ones? Any advice of what's good and what to avoid / look out for would be most appreciated.

I think the agri has a 30k transmission and possibly a smaller engine/hydraulic pump and no boom suspension not sure about air con the super has 40k 6 speed etc and definitely air con but I'm sure someone will correct me.

The torque lock is good enough it's definitely an improvement over the older machines we don't do as much towing as we used to but it's not too bad with 8-10 ton behind it but I wouldn't want to do it every day.

We've just got a new 536.60 super which replaced a 63 plate 536.60 super and I can't notice anything better about the engine but the hydraulics are very fast compared with the older machines

Nick...

We have 3 that spec and one super with 40k, newest one is ad blu and havent had any major issues, the 15 and 17 plate ones have had the electric fuel pump replaced on top of the filter housing, thats about the only thing we've had on the newer engines.
