We have built a shed on some land and SSE have quoted 15k for a single phase supply from 150m away.
Looking at options to use genny, solar and a battery store type unit for alarm/wifi-link and some lighting without genny running constantly overnight.
These units seem fairly pricey.
Question is how long would the batteries last for before another hefty bill to replace them.
