JCB digger, post knocker, single acting

We’ve been getting a JCB 804 mini digger and a protec post knocker.
When letting the weight down with the left side of the foot pedal, it’s pumping oil, is there a way to make it single acting? Can’t seem to find a tap on the spool block?

Just fire the other pipe straight to tank

Some machines have a free return connection for this situation.
Otherwise as above, just take a return pipe back to the tank

Just an update, post knocker has only one pipe!
Had it plumbed into the bigger pipe, but now put it onto the smaller feed pipe, turned the quarter turn tap that comes out of the tank and it’s working now
