Jcb Fastrac air ram cylinder gear selector

Hi.
I have a problem with my 2003 2135 4ws abs not always selecting Reverse and low I’m going have look again today.
Would I be right in thinking the problem would be the high and medium ram not reading there back in neutral (sensor fault) so conveniency not allowing the reverse/low ram to work?
Sometimes if I restart the tractor it’s fine sometimes I have to just leave it till the next day and it fine it always works if I put it into limp mode?
Feed back on this would be very helpful.

I did away with the sensor that was playing up on my 1135. Just bypassed the switch.. end of problem..
downside was that it showed it was in 'high' all the time !

Shuttle lever working ok? I've replaced levers in both my fastracs, which cured issues I had selecting gears.
Otherwise my thoughts:
high low ram lock nut come loose and moved out of adjustment? Preventing ram reaching neutral switch??
Or electric connection corrosion somewhere.

Maybe check that is moving the selector enough to operate neutral switch as i think its not sensing neutral …

the sensor is a proximity switch there is a magnet on the ram plunger the switch is likely to have moved slacken the switch and move along the ram with a set multimeter to resistance so you can tell when it is in the right place

Its came on slow over a period of time , did it one day out the blue but then worked … gradually got worse to point it wont go to med or high at all not just low and reverse …. I have had the rams off and checked switches all work on multi meter i replaced awitches exactly as they were i marked them but prehaps they had moved but they were very tight and some sort of glue on so i dont think switches have moved ,

I have a vague recollection that the magnet was broken up on mine when I resealed it, and that there was a replacement in the reseal kit.
