is any any one working with a JS70, any advice on them I’m thinking to getting one used hitachi an kubotas for the last 20 year, co know nothing about jcb

If it’s a properly old one it will be a sumo aka what a case is based on. Which should be alright!
JZ was the next incarnation of the model line but made my jcb which is apparently a very good digger....
Think you would be better with a ex60[emoji6]or that Zaxis 70 that for sale in Shetland just now take the temptation away....

The old sumitomo based jcb and case machines were brilliant diggers and I still think sumitomo are some of the best still today.

Hope your right just bought a 1996 one tonight 7860hrs and pretty tight for it’s age my brother has a 91 one and it doesn’t look very Bonny but does a dam good job, that might be the operator!!!

Should be a good machine the only problems you may have will be age related, when you service it make sure you change the track motor oils and if the slew gearbox has a dipstick check it as often at the engine oil.

Thanks for the tips it’s just had all the oils and filters changed but I don’t know about the track motors will have to find out a bit of maintenance can go a long way

Track motors are easy to do.the plugs on the motors are self explanatory really.turn track to plug at bottom of motor and drain.then usually filling point in centre of track and fill to oil runs out.use the correct oil and track it about a bit to thin oil before draining.
