There'll be more to the code than just "700" - let us know.

What has been done to attempt to resolve it so far?

What is the exact fault code? it will begin with a P, and there isnt a pure P0700 code

So there is good fuel flow at the HP pump with ignition on from the lift pump?

There are some really good diagnostic flow charts in the workshop manual for fault finding all the fault codes, plus the use of the JCB servicemaster to look at live data. Why isn't the tech using these??

Since you have been at draining the fuel tank, can we presume you have had some contamination ?

If it was water, at a complete guess I'd say you've buggered at the very least the HP pump and likely all the injectors too- a quick look at live data will show what rail pressure it is building during cranking and what the SCV duty cycle is (an indication of the health of the HP pump)

I don't think we're getting the full story here.

We had a white oily sludge in the summer in the bottom of filter which caused problems cleared that, have been extra careful with fuel since putting fresh deliveries straight into clean ibc to check for contamination and adding exocet fuel additive .

Take the leak off pipes off your injectors and see if any fuel is coming out of one more than another. Also try andUnplug the plug on the high pressure pump and see what she does then
