JD 1177 header height control

Location

Hello, all, I need your advice please. My 1177 header height control is very temperamental. I've changed the switch on main control handle but not made any difference. Any one else has similar trouble? I'm guessing it could be solenoid /valves? Thanks in advance.

A total of 4 micro switches in the joystick for height control. Have you changed them all ??

Check the electronic junction box behind the hydraulic valve block on the right hand side. I had similar experiences, got DK electronics to redo the joystick and still played up. Then was trying to find the cause opened that box up and wiggled a few connectors and it started working and has done since albeit only half a day since!
