JD 50 series hydraulic couplings

Is there any way of cleaning or maintaining the hydraulic coupling? Or is it better to buy new/aftermarket? Difficult to detach mainly, getting jammed in and needing to hit outer ring and also dislodgeing the circlip. TIA

Probably time you bought new.

Bad design that. Far better if u can push tge outer ring back with ur hand and insert pipe rather than pushin and pullin at the pipe

Take the ruddy things off and fit Std 1/2" QR.
Just don't forget to uncouple trailer pipe though, before driving off..
