Hi All,

Just noticed the heater action on the ignition of a recent upgrade to JD (new to JD). I assume the symbol means to push in on the key to activate the glow plug, anyone know for how long roughly?

(tractor starts on the button by the way, just would like to know for winter time)

If it’s a 6 cylinder you’ll never need to use it, if it’s a 4 cylinder (6310 seem the worst for some reason) usually holding the key in for 20-30 seconds on very cold morning will be plenty.

Normally until the light goes out

It isn’t automatic on 6010 series.
