Not bad for doing, you’ll need a tool to press the new seal in square and you may need a puller to get the pulley off. The pulley is on a tapper, I have a tool that bolts on the front to put some pressure on the a gentle blow with a hammer usually shifts it.

Now Then..
There is a tool to remove the old seal. It's a cartridge type seal so has a wear sleeve on the crank. Access isn't too bad as I recall,,,, unless you have front PTO.
From the factory, the crankcase vent hose is stuffed down between the engine and chassis. I always reroute it down the front, using the fuel hose bracket as a support..

Can this be done without special tools for removal and reinstallation of the seal? Maybe it's possible to make something to push the new one in

I've re routed the vent pipe down the front, and the seal didn't seem to be leaking just as bad after that. The pipe did seem to be trapped tight down the inside of the chassis.

I think it will probably be best to leave it alone for a bit and see what develops, then maybe get the dealer to put a new seal in with their proper tool if it gets any worse.
