So I had no fans working. Taken the seat out freed them both up but only one fan runs. I’ve no power to the right hand fan at all and I’ve only got positions off 2,3 and 4 no position 1. Any suggestions?

I know on the older 50 series if the resistor went you lost both low speeds. I doubt that’s your problem but it might be worth a look at the resistor for piece of mind eh.

For a start if your fans have stuck they are knackered and will need replacing, the brushes will be worn out. Save yourself the time of removing the seat again and stick two new ones in.
The motors have individuals fuses so youneed to check them as one may be blown, if one fan is running the relay shoot be ok. If you’ve lost speed no1 it will be either the switch of the resistor, you can ohm check the resistor to see if one of the coils has burned out.

All sorted now. Turns out one coil is knackered on the resistor pack and it was a fuse that looked good but obviously knackered. Having just done king pin bearings and seals it can wait until it fails again to be replaced. Taking the seat out really isn’t a big deal
