had all the same issues on claas tractors that we had, there prone to dropping a valve as well and that will trash the complete engine, thankfully wehad warranty cover on all the claas tractors simply because of the engines known history, run all masseys now as got fed up with the down time, engine is faultless and better on fuel as well

But there's no faults as in running rough etc tractor pulls like a train doesn't smoke or owt daft so why test something there's nothing wrong with

That’s fine if your happy with it then don’t worry about it, you may find that they are down on pressure if you test them. I know somebody who had a injector stick open and melt a piston that’s all, they never had any reason to fault the injectors but they were worn and down on pressure.

Who’s diagnosing all these injector faults dealer/man in van? And how are they been tested, I’m quite curious:scratchhead:. I’ve customers with teen’s of thousands of hours on 20/30 series all still on a there original injectors!
Are they been replaced due to the 1347.07 code? Or is a full injector return test been done?

what does that code mean?

what does that code mean?
1347.07 - “fuel rail pressure miss match” the rail pressure is 50psi above or below the commanded pressure.
There is a lot of thing that can cause this code though from electrical, mechanical, and fuel. Unfortunately some people jump to the conclusion that the injectors are knackered!

Ps - you’ll usually also get 1569.31 which is engine derate.

Now Then..
I've rarely changed injectors despite the negative comments on here. As mentioned, who's doing the diagnostics??
Also rare is the seal failure inside a turbocharger. The actuator fails or the variable vane department, but oil leaking?? Is it not a badly installed oil line after the head gasket replacement?? There's an installation sequence for the injectors too..

How do you check injectors then ? I got info if they give more than 30ml than desired 30-40-50ml on idle or 1000 rpm then they are finished.
Also, Advisor says to test them on working temp and most of the guys test them cold.

Do you have any codes relating to the fuel system??
As for the test. You need to collect leak off fuel from the injectors. The pipework varies slightly so take a look and work out the easiest way.

I dont have any codes but lets say that the tractor has little different sound. Then it shows on injector test 40ml more than desired on few of them. Doesnt that mean injectors are bad ?
In most cases it does. Confirming it also by the sound when you turn them off while testing. If the sound is worse when one is off then that one is ok. The smaller the difference in the sound the worst the injector is.

Those ml show leak off injector.
