JD C670 down on power

As above, already drained the tank and cleaned filter, changed fuel pipe to the pump. As soon as I drive into the crop the engine dies, sometimes below 2000rpm.

Blocked it twice on rape as it didn't have the power to push the green stalks through at night[emoji26]

Anyone had similar problems?

It has not got one of those small filters in the fuel pipes by the banjo's has it .Or is the air filter goosed

Being an electronically managed engine, there may be fault codes for low rail pressure or commanded v target rail pressure - that would give you direction to go chasing a fuel supply issue.

Does it have an electric lift pump ? Even if its buzzing, is it pumping ample fuel ??

If no codes along those lines, check all the intake boots for splits- is there any whistling with her running - if the map sensor doesn't see boost pressure because of an air leak, it wont increase fuelling.. Air filter is clean and intake hose isn't collapsing etc etc????

Where the fuel enters the fuel filter on the T550 debris collects in the elbow next to the fuel filter housing. Won’t take long to check it’s clean.
