JD Climatrak problem

The AC system on my JD9540i has started playing up. There are no error codes and the AC compressor clutch engages for very randomly short periods of time. Sometimes it would start to cycle normally, like stay engaged for a few tens of seconds, then disengage for a similar period.
Has anyone dealt with something similar?

Here's a video of the random behavior:

As above, either low or high pressure switch cutting it out. Need to put some gauges on both sides of the system, it will soon tell you which it is.
Should also be able to check the switches in the diagnostics if the pressures are correct, but if it’s not been gassed in the last 5 years Its probably due a service anyway as gas seeps out over time.

The gas was topped up last summer but it started playing up before the end of last season. The odd thing is that it sometimes it works for a while so it's either right on the border pressure wise or it's something else. Had a jd guy this week with the laptop and he said there are no recorded codes related to climatrak. An AC tech should have come today but didn't show up.

Also i had a multimeter probe connected to the clutch wire to see what is going on and the starts and stops are definitely commanded, as the voltage drops to 0v when it stops and goes to 12v when it starts again. I thought a chaffed wire might be the cause but i don't anymore.

Check all the connections in the engine bay near the compressor clutch and also look for the relay and give it a wriggle or swap it for the same if there's another....ignition on only ,and turn ac on and keep your finger on the relays to find which one if book or relay cover doesn't tell you if your sure gas is ok.thermostat can give trouble too, located pushed through the evaporator but not easy to test it.
