JD spool valve

Help I’ve lost a spring item 6 and ️ in picture, comes as kit in parts break down which is £87. Item 14 a spring but not the same as 6 is 73p. Why do they need to be so awkward??

Take another spool to bits and measure the dimensions. Plenty of places will make custom springs.



I tend to use Vincent Springs as they're local to me, but are a one man band. Springmasters are a larger company.

That looks like it might be a relief valve so the rating will have to be perfect.

It’s a check valve, stops pressure from seeping back into the spool.

@Northdowns Martin, I may have one in the workshop in an old style 300 series scv which should be the same. But If you can measure the top one and I’ll take a look in the morning.

Number 14 is for the pfc valve and will be a heavier spring.
