I thought this may be of interest to some of you,"if you can read the print", although the same article pic, the print may be slightly clearer on one of the pics . Someone may be able to somehow uplift the article on to TFF,if you can thanks for doing so. (y)

It's poetry: 'a blend of skin and hate'. That's the retired not-much-else-to-do-but-complain brigade. Thankfully they seem not to inhabit these parts. I would love to meet one of the sorts who insists on street lights to which I can reply: have you tried living in a town?

Skin & Hate neatly sums up one of my neighbours

the people we find round here who cause the most trouble are the incommers, they are the ones who build the big new houses, throw their rubbish into my fields cause boundary disputes, etc etc also they then object to anything that may cause anything that may upset their percieved view of the countryside, 2 examples we had a complaint once of cattle mooing early in the morning and working late one night to beat the weather while haymaking ?

Our new neighbour is a constant nuisance.
He has asked us to remove our biomass boiler
(It was there before he was)
On Saturday we were "polluting the air" muck carting. He asked us to stop.
We ignore him.
His texts are considered harassment by one of our WPC friends

Just block his number on your phone. You are under no obligation to receive his calls or texts. Either that or reply to all his messages 😂.

We’ve a neighbour who was complaining about machines driving past at “crazy speeds”.

he complained about the one fitted with telematics one day.

When I looked on the computer, it was recorded passing him at speeds of up to 7kph at time of complaint.

🙄

think he gets bored.

not unless he's a pensions actuary, or a hedge fund manager, or has a ground hugging £80k motor in which he thinks he can traverse the farm track to his house at a steady 25mph, then complain about scuffed wheels and burst tyres. not unless he's got three kids at £40k a year private schools, does he uplight his trees, walk his dog across fields that have no footpath and beautify his house with led floodlights that cast an icy glow behind his electric f*ck-off gates.....

Maybe he lives on the other side of the access track...... Has he got a black range rover with completely blacked out windows, works from home - even before working from home was invented. Needs a map to navigate round the village, talks to no one, never visits the pub, church or farmers market, has his condensing boiler running 24/7 even in summer, windows that I don't think open, and designer clothes to wear to open the door to the postman or the amazon vans that form a queue like the taxis at heathrow
