He was at a farm sale a couple of weeks ago buying some kit to do the arable with, he got run a bit. I was told the guy selling up had been doing his arable work but had given up his own tenancy.
I went past what I believe is his house, bloody great place sat up on the bank overlooking the Cotswolds.

Is he actually doing the work there himself ?

He may or he may not be - but who cares really. I do believe he will do some, as he is a bafoon who will try anything.

The pertinant point for me is that he will actually help spread the word that Farming is full of pitfalls to a very large demographic, so do not shoot the messenger - as he may actually help the UK farming cause!

And even if he doesn't it will probably be entertaining.

By being able to make fun of himself and his lack of knowledge on the subject it will be appealing to the general public.

In the same way I watched Top Gear for entertainment purposes....but also because of a lesser interest in cars. An all out car show full of jargon by presenter know things inside out doesn’t appeal at all to me.

Totally agree it wasn’t a dig just be great if he is having a crack at it himself too gives more sway if he throws his support /public image behind British farming having at least done the work himself , either way the bloke is brilliant
