John Deere 5100R forgets reverser calibration ?

I have a case with JD 5100R, year 2011, it moves front&back on reverser very hard. Calibration did not make it much better but those 2-3 fine adjustments after made it acceptable.
Then after the tractor is off for a day or dont know how long it forgets all calibrations and again it is connecting very rough.
As we could notice it fills the clutch with a lot of bars and less time.
Conclusion is that clutch plates are worn out and that transmission must go out.

Is that the case or something else can be done ? Solenoid for reverser is exchanged and same thing.

P.s. I am no mechanic so some terms may not be accurate :)

Hm, I am not sure now. I know that automatic calibration does not make it better. Then it offers fine adjustment 2 times, then we get it to be ok. After the tractor is turned off it forgets that fine adjustment. It is not the first tractor to do that my mechanic says.
Why does it not remember it ? Oil temp is in specs, I think 60 degrees

Does it need to be saved or something ?

I assume you're using Service Advisor 4??
There was a time when it didn't save correctly. Either write the figures and manually input them afterwards or calibrate it using the tractor screen..

Yes it was 4.2 ! Dont tell me it is programs fault !?!?
So I must remember what will be on EPC 40 and 43 and then if it changes it after fine adjustment then I must write it manually on Command Center or with laptop ?

Thanks a lot, you really know about JD

EDIT: he says that the tractor remembers the numbers when he goes on Data input after calibration but after some time it does not act on those new numbers for fill pressure and fill time.
He says that it goes on 220 Bar for pressure which is too high and then he lowers it 1-2 times and those number remain on EPC addresses but the tractor is driving like he forgot that it was calibrated or fine adjusted

What could that be ?

Have you had the clutch cooling valve out to check the springs??
I've seen a spring break in the forward solenoid valve once too..
How many hours has it done, what oil does it have in and has it ever been serviced..
Are the values in EPC 40/41/42/43 the same after key off and back on once calibrated??

Can that valve be checked with transmission in place ?
It has 7500 hours and it has JD oil inside.

Yes my friend says it remembers the values on those 4 places but it does not drive like it has when he entered them and tried.

So we make calibration and it changes values but still starts rough, then we go on Data Input and change the values, right after that it drives ok. Then after turn OFF and 1 hour or 1 day the values are still there but it drives like values are before calibration and fine adjustment.

Yes, you can get valves out. I leave the MFWD shaft on usually, it's much easier with it off. It's a 24mm hex plug.. Look at the 6920 thread on here just now, someone has the valve in their hand.

I have seen those broken springs, we will check that. So that is not clutch valve but clutch cooling valve ?

And if the spring is ok and if he remembers those EPC values what would be next step ? I want to try everything before I open the transmission.
I cannot understand how he remembers those 4 values and then does not act accordingly, like he is reading them from somewhere else.

Yes Croatia, tractor is from France.

Yes electronic reverser like 6030 series.

We will try on Saturday all this and see what we will get. Thanks a lot
