John Deere 6125r controller

Have a used 6125r that has its brake lights on since it was delivered off the truck. Thought it might be just switch adjustment at pedals but problem seems elsewhere as with plug disconnected from switch box the lights and obviously the 4wd remain powered on as the circuits are connected. Cab controller would seem to be maybe the next step but where is it located, can't seem to find it. Any advice appreciated.

If it was like it when delivered call the dealer you bought it from
Nick...
From a private seller and he is not too helpful mostly because his son drove the tractor and he's not around at the moment. To be fair the tractor is really clean and this is the only issue. Will probably have to beg the local JD dealer to have a look but would prefer to sort it if ppss

Hi, thanks for reply. I've just taken out the switch box under the pedals and one of the switches seems a bit sticky. They are a sealed unit so have ordered a replacement which should rule out any problem coming from there. Would be great if that's the simple solution so here's hoping!

Fuse F03/08 (10A) supplies the brake pedal switches at pin A. Pin C (yellow) is the left brake, pin D (blue) is the right brake. Both switches are N/C therfore supplying the cab controller with 12V putting the lights out. Disconnecting the switch will put them on.
I'd say a new switch Assy will cure it..

Thanks again for interest in my problem. Forgive my ignorance but what does N/C mean when referring to the switches?

New switch installed and that seems to have been the problem. Old one seemed to be OK until it was taken out and (cut) open which showed a broken linkage. What was throwing me was the fact that the brake lights still worked when the plug was disconnected but modern wiring is a mystery at times. Simple problem with a simple solution!

Always check the wiring diagram !!!

Jd ones are excellant as they show the inner workings of switches n relays etc
