John Deere 6610 radio

Radio no power removed to check fuse(ok) but blue wire not connected. Anybody know where it should be? There is a grey wire spare above but no wire showing at end of conduit.

I have three 10 series and the radio’s are wired different in each one !!

Hard to tell you anything without being there with a multimeter !!

The black plug is the power supply,
Black wire should be earthed,
Red/ yellow, one should be live 12v, the other on the ignition circuit. Can’t remember which way round.

Brown plug is the speaker output.

They often include wires for power antennae, which can be left out.

I’ve never had an 00 that had an ignition live to the radio,it was wired live all the time.

My 7810 was only ignition live, which was a pain when I replaced the radio with one that needed a constant live.
6610 is just constant live, and my 6310 has both.

I’ve never had an 00 that had an ignition live to the radio,it was wired live all the time.

I had a 6400 P reg and I'm 97% certain that the radio went off with the ignition.

Blue wire is powered antenna. As said yellow and red need a live feed, one for memory and one to power up. If both are live and you have continuity to chassis on the earth cable then issue is with radio

Slightly off topic but before I go swapping speakers in 6410 any other reason for-picture but no sound from either speaker?

check your fader and balance settings,

Unless wiring to speakers there’s good chance it’s the speakers themselves. Have you got a working one just to test?

Good chance one has been off for a while? Easier to just pop one out and pop the wires on another speaker to try
