John Deere 6800 fan removal

Anybody taken the fan off a 6800 before? Struggling to get it out. Trying to change the water pump but can’t get the fan or shroud out

fan sh,ould just come right out when you undo the bolts and belt. I never got too much trouble with water pumpsbut yet i havnt had a 68. Ive got a 66. make sure when you tighten the belt and fan back up that the belt is tight though. Of it gets loose and it can catch the something up ther. Not sure what it is but trust me you dont want to find out. It is a pain to fix it.

Yeah our shroud goes both sides of the fan so can’t just pull it out

Oh. I dont know then. A bit of ignorance would go a long way!

You have to loosen shroud and pull it out with fan, if I remember correctly.
Took ours out to lock the viscous fan
