John Deere 6800 low trans pressure

Light came on 6800 showing low trans press, what is the cause ?

Check for oil contamination on the dipstick (silver colour)

Appears now to be in first gear only in any range (abcd....powerquad box)....once you move to 2nd/3rd/4th it is ok. Has done 5800 hours. It is worse when warmed up.
Oil level is correct.

I had light come on my 6320 intermittently for several months until I used the bale wrapper . Been ok since . presume the constant flow cleared something which causing reduced pressure -stuck valve perhaps?

No you just have to tilt cab ad take power quad unit out

I’d check the oil pressure sensor first, if it’s 30mm across its flats ( highly likely if it’s the original) I’d wager it was the sensor.
