John Deere 6900 pto shaft housing

need to change the pto shaft housing on my 6900. Has anyone done it? Is there a step by step walkthrough available? Never been inside a gearbox so don’t want to make any stupid mistakes.

Got this job to do on neighbours 6900. Other than pto shaft, housing and seal what other parts will I need/should I replace while it's apart?
