I had a 6210R which had a fair few niggles when it was new, some fairly major, enough to persuade the boss to buy a NH despite us being all deere and having a deere dealer between 2 of the farms. When I was due a replacement this year wasnt really fussed what colour I got, until I had a shot with the 6215R DD. It really is some machine, far smoother, quieter and nicer to drive than 6210 was, its better on fuel as well, although on my jobs I never found the 6210 to be that bad

And for sitting in corner of a field shouting at some error codes as the re gen fudges up get a deer

When im sat in a corner of a field shouting, its usually at the bloke who has made me drive a valtra, and the cart spring cab suspension combined with a seat thats like an upturned orange box has started to give me b**lock ache.

150r John Deers most comfortable tractor I've operated, pathetic without an engine remap. Brilliant when derv doctored up to 200hp. auto quad gearbox good for reliability and simplicity, but if i was buying just for me to drive would go for auto power/DD! Steering lock is pretty good if you have the tyres just and so skimming the chassis on full lock. Will have odd error code but very rare tractor is out of use. MF 7618 .... One of the most uncomfortable fully suspended tractors I've ever operated to the point where I asked if the dealer could bolt the cab suspension up solid! Windows, doors, wing mirrors, indicator/side light arms, cab, mudguards all came loose and tried to fall of..... But plenty of power, good steering lock and nippy on the road. Masseys lasted 5 months and had to go due to continuos breakdowns, now on are second set of 150r's. Maybe our four masseys were Friday afternoon models and maybe the 7700 range is a lot better

No im still undergoing counselling for it, it left such a lasting effect on me
try a new one

He made it so engine clean outs ( or whatever it's officially called) aren't just as regular, but a light on the dash and a slightly louder exhaust tone every now and then doesn't really bother me to much to be honest

AFAIK, he does the usual EGR off and massages the timing as well as the fuelling and turbo mapping, but leaves the DPF in place.

Without EGR and more optimal timing, the exhaust will run hotter and thus cleaner, so as long as fuelling isn't to excess the dpf wont have to work any harder than standard.
