Yes, it's genuine . I did the same with one last year. The guy wasn't fussed about a proper fix so it's still bypassed..
I think there was a problem in the switch circuit rather than the isolator itself. Never got a chance to test.
This one had one of the small wires broken off to close to the isolator to rejoin. At the moment the led near the switch if permanently on so as he's only retired man who uses the tractor very occasionally he will disconnect the battery when not being used. With hindsight I think there was another small wire on the isolator which I'm guessing feeds the switch. When I'm that direction again I will remove it.
