Going to take a stab in the dark and say £3-3500. Looks late 1930's say1937. Maybe the pictures but paint looks wrong and looks petrol paraffin.

Darren Tebbitt would be your man as he has a few of these.

Out of interest it is actually a BR model as it has the fixed front axle, it would be a BW if it was adjustable.

Almost right Muckspreader.
This tractor is actually a BO, orchard model. (note the covers over the tank filler caps and also has independent wheel brakes)
The BR is very similar to this- it shares the same chassis but has an air intake stack above the bonnet and a simple band transmission brake.
The BW is a taller, longer and wider row-crop model with an adjustable front axle.

I hadn't noticed the bonnet covers. Used to own a BW but sold it when I moved to France.

Smart BW (y)
Cast frame wartime model, has Standen rear wheels but nor familiar with the cast front ones?
Did your family have it new?

No, but it had spent all it's life in and around Ayrshire. It came over as a lend-lease tractor in 42 or 43 can't remember which. It may have been shipped with metal wheels or without any wheels attached as space would have been at a premium.
