John deere pto stub shaft wear

Just swapped it round and noticed it's really started to wear.
Is it usual to go about 1/3 through the splines in 3700hrs? My other R series has nearly 5000 hrs and it's not as worn.
Could it be down to this tractor on a big baler with wide angle shaft? Also muck spreader on a heavy wide angle shaft. The inner female part in the tractor feels like new.
I will order a new shaft up tomorrow

Nick young is a lot cheaper but is the steel cheaper quality, false economy?
It's just the splines that go into tractor that are worn. The end the pto goes on is like new
I have dealt with Nick Young a few times and never had any problems and found their service excellent
