Our 6330 “ clutch “ has become very erratic and fierce. It will lose drive if you are trying to inch the tractor whilst loading bales or hitching on a trailer or implement.

Error code EPC3 523677.02 comes up on the command centre screen when drive is lost putting the shuttle into neutral and the gearlever into park for a few moments clears the code.

Anyone had this before?

Now Then..
You have 2 separate issues going on there..
Issue one,,
EPC 523677.02 - S158 - Declutch Switch on Range Shift Lever Faulty. I just dealt with one of these today. Poor connection in the fuse box I believe..
Issue two,,
When was the oil last changed?? Are the brakes OK?? How many hours has it done??
You could try taking the proportional valve out of the Powrquad, give it a wash with clean solvent, then put it back and calibrate it....

Thanks for the reply.

The tractor has done 5300 hours. Had a full service at 5000 hours.

We fitted a new top on to the gear lever 18 months ago, as the power shift buttons were falling out the old one, is this where you think the declutch problem is?

Brakes are good.

Is removing the proportional valve from the powerquad to clean it a dealer job?

I don't think a dealer would try to clean it. They'll bang a new one in (£300.00 ish) and calibrate it. I thought you were looking for a possible DIY fix?? It might calibrate without a new part..
In my experience, there's no problem in the gear lever, it's more the power supply to it. I was watching the voltage with Service Advisor and saw that it altered when I moved a relay. Took the connection apart, cleaned it, and put it all back together. It seemed OK when I left. I did similar a fortnight ago to another one..

Yes I would like to have a go at fixing it.

Can you tell me where the proportional valve is please and also the calibration process after I have cleaned the valve.

Number 18 in the top picture, just take it out and wash it as it is, it can't be taken apart.
Also, in the bottom picture, remove number 10 and everything else in there. The springs often break causing your problem.. Take this out first..
