We had a mounted Aitchison grass farmer, just the cheapy, twas a good drill and liked the foam rollers, very easy on coated seed.

Well spotted. It was time to treat the old girl. I can't complain though, as the old set had done 4 seasons.

That's pretty good going, as I take it you use it for a fair few acres? Good, solid simple drills IMO and that is what you need

Tbh they were about wanting changing last summer, but only drilling into cultivated soil in the Autumn and a month ago, so managed to squeeze a bit more out of them. At £32 each they have to last.....

Grass and then DD swedes next up, so needed a bit better penetration.
