Does the grid not just fill up with mud in the winter? It would at my place. We always have big gaps under the sides for the water to drain. Might let the hedgehogs out too, but since we don't have them, it's not really an issue.

I could do with you here. Didn’t see a nest of the hot arsed little sods when I was pulling a bit of long grass from around a post.

I never wear shorts for working but did today. Nasty little swines stung me three times on one leg. Nice.

They didn’t like half a gallon of diesel tipped on their house, that’s for sure.
