Foo hoo kin’ hell Gaffer, it was that bloody windy I saw a chicken lay the same egg twice.

But that was nothing compared to the wind once my windscreen came adrift at Junction 3 on the M54. I got to Bayston Hill and had to stop for a slash but my fingers were froz to the wheel. A very kindly young woman was friendly enough to rub her talents around my hands to free them off, but once I was thawed out she wanted £40

Don’t worry about the windscreen I’ve come home in the Bedford so you can take that tomorrow while I get auto glass out or I could get some mesh from the blacksmith instead.
