Anyone care to guess the price for getting going today with oem as opposed to tomorrow with the aftermarket alternative?

Should have on the shelf at your farm to be honest, harvester notorious for chewing alternators due to dust.

Offset the extra with the value of being able to harvest the crop when conditions are right

A decent auto electrician could swap the innards in half an hour and use second hand parts. £50 job at worst

If I went to either of the Auto-electrical people I use and explained the situation I know the job would be completed by the end of that working day.
