Klf300 starter problems

So I thought I’d have a go at fixing the quad that hasn’t been starting up with the push button. It runs fine when using the pull cord.

I’m fairly sure the starter relay / solenoid is at fault here but I can’tsee how the marked cable attaches to it.
. Bridging the terminals makes a few sparks but nothing more.

Check to see if you have 12v to the wire on starter first, 9 times out of 10 it will be the starter brushes
