Coming out of the box or on the twine discs ?
Twine needs to be tight ish as it feeds into the knotter the book will have the correct settings. Usually with a spring balance pulling the string. I find with problems the easy way is to compare with the ones that work. Always vexing when you need to get on.

That's definately not happening , thanks all the same
If its hanging on the bill hook could be that needs slacking a quarter of a turn, or the stripper arm needs a belt to make it pass closer, that needs doing with the chamber empty and turn the baler over by hand, could also be the twine disc timing is out, possibly the roll pin broken , trouble is many things can cause it, I love little baling when it's going well but had many years of frustration when it plays up, after 48 years I'm getting there now though.

Once had same problem. Turned out to a be a ‘quarter of a finger nail” of the white tape from the tab on the ball of string, stuck between the spring guide plates on the string box exit.
