Kohler k301 13hp engine electro starting.

Hello everyone.

I have a Howard Gem Rotovator with a Kohler K301 13hp engine.

Always been problems with starting so bought a new coil and chip to convert to electronic timing.

Before I completely reassemble, can anyone find any issue with the wiring?

I appreciate spark plug wire not attached yet!
Bonus question, how can I wire in a stop switch?

Hope you have a spark? If you disconnect the short earth wire going to the 6mm bolt hopefully you will loose the spark? If so, put the kill switch on this wire, obviously you can mount the switch anywhere and run the wires to it. Best to get a spark and have it running first
