Komatsu forklift heatwr plugs on constantly

Hi I have a komatsu forklift and the heater plugs are on all the time they don't sh!t off they are drawing current all the time can anyone suggest why this may be happening thanks

You will most probably have a glow plug relay somewhere. It will most probably be having an identity crisis! Does the forklift time the glow plugs or do you have to hold the key? Some are timed. Find the relay first, it could be stuck or slightly melted!!

I believe its timed its definitely not holdbjey anyway thanks

If it’s a timed one it will be noticably bigger than a standard relay so should be easily found. It will have a heavy wire from battery or fuse box and a heavy one to the glow plugs. Sounds like it’s sticking

Also they can demand power to glow plugs as they keep cycling until its warm
Not sure if that applies to this though

I had a diesel transit (fridge van) that caught fire only a mile from starting which I pretty much always assumed was the heater plugs stuck on

They look heavy enough, do they have two heavy wires and one lighter trigger wire? Ate both heavy ones live? Do they continuity test back to the glow plugs?
