We've mayo in here with 20 years and very happy with them but put in a kraiberg roll in the last shed and delighted with it so far. I think it has 3 years done.

Mayo mats have been terrible here, got intershape latex on our heifers and very pleased with it
Looked at the intershape latex Friday and they felt very hard and a rough finish. Am bothered about hock damage. Did like how neatly installed they were. With no gaps for muck to build up on. Shed builder also fits them which is handy.

Kraiberg looking like £30 per cubicle more. Like how soft they feel. Not keen on every 20m being a edge/divide. Which proberly isn't a problem. Did you put kraiburg Wela in?

I put in the kkm longline continuous roll. Only 3 star for comfort but I think it's a great job. No regrets so far for the extra cost. Have a feeling it was around €100 per cubicle space.

We are grazing so cows aren’t in full time, think if I was to house cows full time I’d be looking at the thicker teemoore mattress tbh

Wish I’d never fitted the Mayo mats, been in 10 years and the cows constantly play with them and lift them up, have to spend time every year cleaning under them

How far have you rolled in your shed? In meter? Or feet can convert it ?

Can imagine. Have some mats now for the dry cows. Not a huge problem but there's less of them and there far less active then a freshly calved heifer.

Do you have the metal joining strips with the Mayo mats?

Have been to see some and they looked a pretty good setup, but they weren’t that old and had the joining strips.
