Hi, looking at a rear mounted topper, KRM 1000 rpm speed, and wondering if anyone knows if the flails and gearbox and roller can be turned to make it front mounted ??? Or just keep looking for an ambidextrous one ?? Thanks in advance

Doubt it.
You're effectively asking the machine to run in reverse unless there's a dummy pto sticking out the back of the box.
The tension on the belts will be on the wrong side. Tightening on the idler.
Also the overrun could be in the gearbox rather than on the pto yoke if it's like my older krm.

On the upside it will be one hell of a tool. Assume they are still rebadged falc machines. Totally bombproof.
Only thing that ever stopped mine was a big horse rug wrapped around the rotor.

There is a dummy shaft on the gear box yes .. good to know they're bombproof , the power harrows always used to be so was thinking the topper would be the same build [emoji16]
Thanks for the reply [emoji106]
