What are these Krone 1500 vario balers like.
Good and bad points please

ive got a vp 1500 with chopper

good points

will bale absolutely anything - if you can get it under the tractor it will bale it
decent bale
chopper is good
value for money
parts good service from krone

bad is points

a bit on the slow side
chain and slat noisy

If you are after one, we have a variopack multicut 1500 with choppy thing for sale.

I just got one, done about 300 bales with it. Good in silage and seems OK in hay so far. MUCH better than my old JD 550!

good baler really we have run krone balers for over twenty years . service from sharnford tractors excellent...only fault we really had with vp 1500 was did not like putting the wrap on if silage was wet or a drizzly day........ last 1500 we had did over 13000 bales, still going now

We had 2 of them 1500s, after 30k bales they were well scrap value
