Which 6 rotar would people recommend. Currently using a krone 4 rotar and had it for four years. No issues at all and does a good job. It’s approx 11yrs old and immaculate. Have a krone mower as well and find that very well made and works well every year.
Want to upgrade to a 6 rotar.
Malone is more expensive. Never used the hook tones before.
To be used for making approx 1200 bales of horse sales grade. round bale haylage.

Only a 4 rotor, but I was looking for a Lely tedder in the Summer, and with good secondhand ones at near new price, I ended up looking at new. Given the uncertain future of Lely, I did look at the other hook tined tedders available, including the Malone at the same Lely dealer (who was covering bases ready for the wheels coming off his Lely franchise). The Malone is a very impressive bit of kit. It was more money, but in a different league for build quality IMO. Very pleased with it so far.(y)

I can't speak for the Krone, but all Malone kit certainly looks built to last.

The Krone tedder will a stronger and better designed machine than your 11 year old one.

The Krone will likely be worth more second hand in the future than the Malone...
