KTwo gone bust?

the original Redrock when bust in 2010,
the owner of Steel solutions bought the factory and equipment and restarted as Redrock Machinery ltd.
Sammy started a new company with his son, trading as Newrock , but infact was DH Europe ltd
Sammy died 3 yrs ago and "Newrock" DH Europe closed shortly after.
I heard he has passed. Was it more his thing & thats why Newrock seemed to disappear? My neighbour has been selling Redrock since some time in the 90’s I think it must be. Unloaded lots for him over the years & always heard lots about Sammy & my neighbours trips over to the factory.
He’s shifting quite a lot of Redrock kit lately, over a fairly big area. Especially for a one man band. So Redrock must be doing quite well.
Good luck to them.

Being devil's advocate here, how do people see machinery costs dropping when someone like Ktwo goes into liquidation/ receivership as presumably they couldn't make a profit I certainly don't see machinery dropping in price

I’d be asking how kTwo couldn’t make a profit when redrock can make such a profit that they can buy them, I’d say with the recent prices, plus the large sales trailer manufactures have been enjoying it would purely be down to management

Machinery cost to the end user won't drop, prices may remain static or increases may be less.
The profit a dealer makes may reduce but manufacturing in general wont pass on any reduction they see to the end user, what they will do is reduce production to maintain & balance demand.

Things must be slowing a bit or something as this would be a fair discount off say a new 16T trailer
