The swivel chute on our has stopped turning, they hydraulic motor still turns.
It looks like the gear on the motor and on the chute have drifted apart as there is a bit of slop on the chute, is there anything I can do to tighten it up, or are there new shims or something I’ll have to get?

Could be teeth on the chute ours did the same we built them up with weld and used grinder to shape them up.
Have you tried moving chute by hand to see if it picks teeth up there is also keyway in sprocket on motor .

As above. It's just a crappy mild steel set of gears. A ring on the spout itself, a gear on the motor and idler in between.
take it all apart and spot each tooth with the mig and tickle back with grinder

Cheers guys, only 1 problem, I don’t have a mig welder, just an inverter welder, will that do the same job?
